Schedule*
June 22, 2026 – Candidate Questionnaire is posted on the Club’s website
July 7, 2026 – Candidates’ Responses to the Questionnaire due at 11:59 PM
July 2026 – Club’s Endorsement Committee meets with candidates and votes on recommended endorsements to the Club membership
July 15, 2026 – Club General Membership meets to vote on endorsements
August 19, 2026 – Club General Membership meets to vote on endorsements (if necessary)
October 5, 2026 – County Elections Office mails out ballots to all registered voters
November 3, 2026 – Election Day

Questionnaire
Questionnaires for candidates seeking the endorsement of the Democratic Club of Ventura will be posted on this website on Monday, June 22, 2026. Candidates’ responses to the questionnaires are due no later than 11:59 PM on Tuesday, July 7, 2026.
Notification
Candidates who will be requesting the Club’s endorsement are encouraged, but not required, to notify us via email at [email protected] at your earliest convenience.
Submission
Please submit via the above Google Form or email [email protected] no later than 11:59 PM on Tuesday, July 7, 2026. Candidates’ responses received after the deadline are automatically disqualified from receiving an endorsement.
Interviews
The Endorsement Committee will schedule a meeting with the candidates for an interviews once the application is submitted. The time and location are TBD.
Membership Vote
The meeting location is SEIU Union Hall located at 1923-A Eastman Ave in Ventura from 6:30 – 8:00 PM. Zoom option available. If you are a candidate and did not receive an email from the Democratic Club of Ventura with the location and time of the candidate meeting/interviews, please contact us at [email protected].
